Preparation

* Examine the package contents carefully for shipping damage and to confirm the correct number of pieces.
* Dry fit every one of the pieces to ensure that you have the right fitting kit.
* Remember not to remove protective vinyl before fender trims are installed.
* Do not install on newly painted surfaces - wait till at least two weeks.
* Alignment is fundamental - so you might need a hand to help you with longer pieces.
* Do not install in temperatures below 65⁰F (18⁰C).

Steps for installation:

Step 1: Cleaning:

Clear the installation area of all any traces of oil, wax, dirt and tar. The application surface must also be warm with a minimum Temperature of around 10⁰C (50⁰F)

Step 2: Washing:

Wash the installation area with clear water and then let it dry. Wipe the area again with a cloth moistened with acetone and then rubbing alcohol.

Step 3: Positioning:

Determine the appropriate position for the installation of the trim piece.

Step 4: Alignment:

Take away protective film from the adhesive, align properly and then press firmly to ensure proper adhesion.
